Discover the Legacy of Hiking Buckets
Originally invented by our grandfather in the mid 1940's the OG hiking bucket was a simple, easy to use, do-it-all workhorse, that proved itself in the mountains and forests across this great country.

Our Bucket History
As a small child, growing up in the hiking bucket community, my dad would sometimes struggle with a heavily-loaded original bucket because it lacked a handle. While watching a hiker with only one arm struggle to carry a full bucket up a particularly steep section, my dad said to himself "there has to be a better way". After several months of development, he discovered the perfect solution, a wire handle positioned on opposing sides of the bucket, near the top and configured to rotate out of the way. He had observed something similar in the paint industry. After a few iterations, the hiking bucket for the modern ages was born.

Although it now featured a convenient handle, the new hiking bucket struggled to find its true identity. Lacking a distinctive name to differentiate the new handle version from the original version proved challenging. Many things were tried - some had no lettering on them, some had different font styles, some had other design features, some had one kind of handle others had a different kind, and a several different sizes were even offered. This lead to a lot of confusion out on the trail.

Eventually it was decided that the madness had to stop - we needed to standardize our hiking buckets. Thus, the Standard hiking bucket was born! It has remained a mainstay for the hiking bucket community ever since.
Always in the mood for adventure, we have continued to lead the industry by developing the latest innovations in hiking bucket technology. And, we are proud to now bring you . . . the Expedition

Our Expedition bucket still has all of the innovative feature of our time-tested Standard bucket, but now sports the revolutionary new stylish design that not only sets you apart from the pack when out on the trail, but also signals to others to "move out of the way, we're on an expedition here!"
